Wednesday 28th June - walk **** Around Felixstowe - mainly cloudy but hot.

We had arranged to have our Granddaughter, the lovely Maeva while her mum has her hair done but not until midday which left me time to do my exercises in the back garden, cloudy again today but still warm. We meet up with Jay in near Walten Church collecting Maeva who is awake but looking serious. We continue to the new estate on the road into Felixstowe entering Abbey Grove leading to The Grove, with the paths bumpy we take it slow, Maeva likes the trees but eventually dozes off, not much of interest in the woods today with the wild flowers now gone and no squirrels with few birds. We set off across the football pitches and Maeva wakes up after only being asleep for a short while. We head for the seafront coming out at The Fludyers, Maeva got grouchy so I was carrying her, we then found a quiet spot on the beach to give he a bottle and had a lovely time, even if Maeva was very distracted but in a god way! Luckily it was cloudy so did not have to worry about covering Maeva up, we were entertained by a paddle boarder out with his small dog, then a couple went in for a swim. We then put Maeva back in the buggy and headed for home, as she now needed her dinner, she was not happy so Mag caried her. Just past the Spa theatre we turned into the gardens and wee treated to a lovely big surprise when we spotted our first Hummingbee Moth loving the lavender, managed to get a few pics. Then home for lunch with Jay returning with her new hair, lovely it is too:) We had a great afternoon and we are going to do it all tomorrow as we are taking Jay to Ipswich for an appointment, we hope to go for a walk in Holywells Park if the rain stays away!
